Account data: email, display name, password (hashed), language preferences.
Usage data: lessons completed, XP, streaks, chatbot messages, translations.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device info, cookies.
Payment data: processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card details.

To provide and improve the Service, process payments, send transactional emails (account, billing), personalize learning, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. With your consent, we may send marketing emails (opt-out anytime).

Text you submit to translators or chatbots is sent to AI model providers (e.g. Google, OpenAI) to generate responses. Providers process data per their own privacy policies and do not use your inputs to train their models when accessed via our API.

We do NOT sell your personal data. We share with: payment processors, hosting providers, AI providers, and analytics — all bound by data-processing agreements. We may disclose data if legally required.

Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. While we follow industry best practices, no system is 100% secure.

You can: access your data, correct it, delete it, export it, restrict processing, and object to marketing. Exercise these rights via Settings or by emailing privacy@ziptalkai.com.

We retain account data while your account is active. After deletion, we remove personal data within 30 days except where legally required to retain (e.g. tax records).

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Parents who believe their child has provided data should contact us.

Data may be processed in countries other than yours. We use standard contractual clauses and other safeguards for international transfers.

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced in-app or via email.
